Assignment 1

For the first lesson, lets start simple with the actual deck. A deck is comprised of 40-60 cards and can have 15 card side and/or extra deck(also 15 cards). Now a 60 card deck does make it easier to run all of the cards you want, majority of the duelist tend to prefer a 40 card deck to help with consistency and effectiveness. And the also run 15 cards in their extra/side deck to either have access to an out to certain cards or to have some extra cards to side in for certain duels. Now as much as how many cards are in your deck, it also come down to what you out in your deck. In each deck there are staple cards these are cards that can be put into any deck to fill the gaps and help the deck function examples are Storming mirror force, Magical spring, and solemn warning.

Now, your assignment will be to build a deck comprised of 40 cards with a 15 card extra deck and 15 cards side deck, you will also need to have at least 3-5 staple cards in your deck. Once you have competed this you will use this deck in 5 match duels, and win each match. I will also ask of you to screenshot each individual win, along with a screenshot of your deck profile that has proof of it being a newly constructed deck. After completing this I will grade it for a possible total of 250 points. This assignment will be due by 1/11/15(if your not aware that's Monday).

Here's a little bit of trivia:
Now originally there was no maximum deck size, until a German duelist (and I cant remember who exactly) showed up to a YCS with a deck comprised of over 2,000 cards. But the limitation was not for the insane size of the deck, but of how long it took to randomize the deck. And the extra deck was not always 15 cards, there used to be no limitation on the extra deck, but when the 5ds era came along with the new synchro monsters, Konami decided on limiting the extra deck to balance out the game as so that no one can have access to too many synchros and have an out to basically everything.

i know you mean well by this assignment but maybe i wasn't clear enough when i hired you and for that i apologize the point of being a teacher is to make an in depth assignment so they earn the points they are given for completing it i believe you are on to a good start here but this assignment is still a good start it just needs a few tweaks so please when you can get on and redo the assignment and have me sign off on it before resubmitting

Personally I believe for Crimson dorm that its a great lesson, especially since many of the members of that dorm need so much ruling, chaining, or timing help...

May be your division and all but doesn't mean I cant give the kid credit for trying, I mean a lot of them are new to this and are gonna need help...

yea and as leader of the division i am more than capable of helping them myself i appreciate the offer but there is no need for any help in this section
