| Here we open up the opportunity for students here at the forum to try and apply for staff, if you are interested in becoming a staff please follow the guidelines for applying. If you don't follow the necessary requirements, applications will result in a automatic denial. Positions will have a green open sign next to the app to signify that people are allowed to put apps in, if it says closed we will not be taking any applications for that position at this time. No current staff member is able to hold 2 or more staff positions. A Quick note as far as activity goes if any staff member regardless of who is running the Department, if a staff member is inactive for more then five days without informing their department Head or any other present Admin, and also not doing anything constructive on the forum they will be dishonorably discharged.
Basic Rules For applying:
1. Must post applications as a separate topic here in staff application forum.
2. Must be Yellow Dorm or Higher to apply for any of the positions. *This rule may not apply for admins/moderators.*
3. Must Remain Active on the forums.
4. Must not have any previous offenses here at the academy.
5. Responses to the question must be answered in complete sentences one word responses will result in immediate denial of the submitted application.
6. Must post the application under a separate topic here in the Staff Application section once accepted or denied the topic will be locked.
Open Application for Teacher: 1. Why you wish to be a Teacher? 2. Qualities for Applying. 3. How active are you? 4. Upon applying for Teacher you must create a mock lesson to show off what you can teach. 5. What Lessons/Homework would you be offering to the academy? 6. Which dorm will you be teaching? 7. Any previous staff history? 8. Upon applying you will have to a mock duel with an Admin are you prepared to do this?
Open Application for Tester: 1. Why you wish to be a Tester? 2. Qualties for Applying? 3. How active are you? 4. Upon applying Testers will have to be put through a mock duel where a staff member acts as the testee and you must point out any said mistakes. 5. As tester you will be required to test students as priority are you prepared to do this task? 6. Any previous staff history? 7. Decks you would use for testing? 8. Upon applying for this position you will be required to battle a current tester active in the department, are you prepared to do this?
Open Application for War Advisor: 1. Why you wish to be a War Advisor? 2. Any previous history of hosting war's at other academies etc. 3. How active are you? 4. Experience comes with a price, so what qualities of a duelist do you have that makes you a good war team leader. 5. Must create a rubric/guideline that you would use in order for members to apply for the war team. 6. Any previous staff history.
Open Application for Event Coordinator: 1. Why you wish to be a Event Coordinator? 2. Any ideas/suggestions for any events? 3. Any Previous Event Hosting experience? 4. How active are you? 5. Must create a mock event upon applying. 6. Any previous staff history?
]Open Application for Moderator: 1. Why you wish to be a Moderator? 2. Any Previous Moderating at Academies? 3. Have you read over the NADA Rules/Guidelines and understand the rules entirely? 4. How active are you? 5. If you were to become Moderator and you were called to handle a situation where a user is making fun of or deliberately telling a player they are bad in the chatbox how would you handle it? 6. Any previous staff history? 7. To insure we can get into contact a Skype interview will be necessary are you prepared to do this. 8. What can you do for the academy as a Moderator? *This position requires the approval of 3 admins*
Open Application for Admin: 1. Why you wish to be a Admin? 2. Any Previous Admin/Founder experience? 3. Have you read over the NADA Rules/Guidelines and understand the rules entirely? 4. How active are you? 5. Any Previous Coding/GFX experience, if so provide some examples? 6. Any previous staff history? 7. What can you do for the academy as an Admin? 8. As admin you're required to have a higher standard here on the forum are you prepared for this commitment? 9. Do you feel you're trust worthy? 11. As Admin you will be tasked with the responsibility to participate in weekly meetings and be able to contact the other admins thus Skype meetings will be necessary, are you prepared to devote time to meetings? 12. To insure we can get into contact a Skype interview will be necessary are you prepared to do this. 13. Finally as Admin what are you prepared to offer to the table as far as academy organization goes, will you be able to take charge in a certain department? examples: Testing, Recruiting, Security, Graphics? *This position requires the approval of 3 admins/Founder Approval as well*
Make sure you follow all these guidelines upon applying for the said positions applications will be denied if otherwise.
