Application for Teacher of Yellow Dorm

Why you wish to be a Teacher?
I enjoy dueling, and if I can teach someone else to use decks they are not use to, I would be able to duel them later with the deck I thought them how to use. Fun for us both. Also, there are some people who do not understand how certain Chains, Effects, or even some rulings, and I would be willing to help with that.

Qualities for Applying.
My mother use to be a teacher (6th grade) and I would help her. I know how to grade students (for any work I could give out) and how to help them should they need it. I enjoy working with people and teaching them new things. I have been playing Yu-Gi-Oh since 2006, and dueling with First Gen cards only, with friends. I joined Dueling Network on October 11, 2015 and since have been studying cards and effects to make the best decks that I can. I am able to the rulings to most cards, but there are still a few that I have not come across, so when I am stumped, I always check the official card rulings at : http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Category:Card_Rulings

How active are you?
I am on Dueling Network and this site on a Daily Basis now. My Time Zone is UTC-05:00 (Eastern Time Zone) On average, I am on here around 4 - 5 hours a day (Sometimes more), at random times.

Upon applying for Teacher you must create a mock lesson to show off what you can teach.
"Today we will be going over Utopia Combo's. There are many ways to summon Utopia, but if you use the right cards, you can summon Utopia on the first turn, then summon a few more XYZ Utopia cards in sequence, but we will get to that in a minute. If you Normal Summon a card like Tin Goldfish, to Special Summon Star Drawing. Then, since the normal summon, if you have it in your hand, you can also Special summon Kagetokage. Now, you have 3 level 4 monsters you can use. If you XYZ summon Number 39: Utopia using Star Drawing and Tin Goldfish you can draw 1 card thanks to the effect of Star Drawing. Now that you have Utopia, you can XYZ summon these cards in the following order on top of Utopia: Number C39 Utopia Ray, then Number S39: Utopia The Lightning. Then you can use the effect of Utopia The Lightning's effect twice, instead of once. Now, for your assignment, I would like for you to create your own Utopia deck. Please be sure to use at least 1 of each of the following cards in your build : Tin Goldfish, Star Drawing, Goblindbergh, Kagetokage, Summoner Monk, Number 39: Utopia, Number C39: Utopia Ray, and Utopia The Lightning. Once you have done this, I ask that you duel me with your new deck, and afterwords, screenshot your decks for possible improvement. Once all students have dueled me, please feel free to duel each other with your Utopia decks to get a better feel for them, and to make improvements based on how the duel went."

What Lessons/Homework would you be offering to the academy?
Have them duel with each other with the deck I taught them how to use, so that they better understand it.

I would be teaching Yellow Dorm.

I have no previous Staff history at this time.

Not Bad, However the lesson could be ALOT better, however before giving my decision I'd wish to mock duel you to see how much ruling you actually know. Since the teachers are leaders of each dorm and a lot of your students will come to you for questions and information its nothing personal, I just wanna make sure you've got enough knowledge for the position....

Well after further review, and mock dueling you its come to my attention that one as you are a great opponent well mannered and did decent on the mock duel. However for two you need to pay more attention to your opponents field aswell and be familiar of there moves as the three errors I made that you didn't catch could of been avoided if you read my card. I also like to add that as your lesson plan was good bud but first i'd suggest picking up simple gaming mechanics considering you didn't even know what a spell speed was bud...
