???(not sure what to call it) Deck Competition
Rules1. - You will be given 3 spell/traps to use as a core for your deck along with a word your deck must match to a variable degree. You must build a deck using these 3 cards as key resources for whatever it is your deck is aiming for. More on this in rule #2. These cards will be judged as plausible cores to work with beforehand, so need to worry about that
2. - Here is more about how your deck will be scored. The main point of the judging will be how you made use of your core cards along with how well your deck matched the word given. For example, having the core cards do almost nothing for the deck except occasionally help summon a monster would result in a low score while making those 3 cards as cores of the deck which help speed it along would result in full points. An example of a given word would be 'Prankster'. It would be up to the participant to have their deck build match this word in some way. Maybe the deck literaly uses clowns, or maybe it uses 'tricks' using spells and traps and making use of fun little tricks such as searching a card and then setting something else. While this is where the main judging would be done, that doesnt mean other important subjects of your deck wont be scored as well. You can expect half of your given score to to be the result of how you made use of your core cards. The other half would basically be the rest of deck; consistency, side deck construction, extra deck construction, deck congruence(i.e. how well all 3 decks work together), along with a few other minor point gains/subtractions not worth mentioning
3. - You must use 3 copies of each core card, any less and your results will be forfeit
4. - You will submit your deck complete with a main deck, a side deck, and an extra deck on [insert date here] so that our qualified judges may score them
